He is survived by: his daughters, Carrie DeMott of Hastings and Heather Korteway (Jeff) of Mattawan, MI; his grandchildren, Autumn DeMott and Jacob Steidle; his great grandchild Kaison Stridle; and his sister Sandy Jacobs of Nebraska.
