He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Czapla and Peggy Czapla (Urquhart); and his daughter Lindsey. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Stewart; his children, Sam Stewart (Rachel) of Akron, Stephanie Czapla-Schaible (Michael) of Cass City, Chelsie Czapla (James Ellis) and Emily J. Czapla (Andrew Solan) of New Haven; his grandchildren, Elliot Stewart, Aiden Stewart and Ava Stewart; and his siblings, Nancy Montague (late Carl "Moose"), Terry Bambach (Marc) of Kingston, Colleen Czapla of Caro, David Czapla of Cass City, Mary Klimek (Tim) of Silverwood and Kris Czapla of Caro.
