He was predeceased by: his parents, James Don and Marguerite June Nicol (Grigg); his wife Cheryl Lynn Raymond; his siblings, Alex Nicol and Nancy Raymond; and his sister-in-law Rosemary Raymond.
He is survived by: his daughter Angel Nicol (Mike Landrum) of Deford; his granddaughter Molly Landrum; his nephew Brandon Gerstenberger of Snover; his siblings, Christine Cummings (Mark) of Deford, Brenda Blackwell of Deford, Tracy Nicol of Deford, Carl Nicol (Carol) of Cass City, David Nicol (Dominique) of Cass City and Mark Nicol (Jessica) of Rochester; his siblings-in-law, David Raymond (Sandra) of Saginaw, Kim Raymond of Deford, Gregory Raymond of Caro and Deborah Raymond of Cass City; and his friends, Bob and Betty Sapien. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
