It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Theresa Adele Emery of Deerfield, Michigan, who passed away on September 16, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Laberdee and Juliette Laberdee (Beaulieu); her former husband Robert Alcott; her husband Herbert J. B. Emery; her brothers, Kenneth and Richard Laberdee; and her brother-in-law Richard Hartman.
She is survived by: her daughter Mary Strahan (Michael) of Riga; her grandchildren, Stacie Becker (Jeff) and Chad Strahan (Erin); her great grandchildren, John, Jacob, Luke, Hayden, Carter and Avery; her stepchildren, Patricia Hixon (Bob) and Charles Emery (Gloria); her siblings, Raymond Laberdee (Thelma), Katheryn Hartman and Geraldine Cote (Sylvanus); her sister-in-law Barbara Laberdee; and her daughter Jeanette Pfeffer.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and social distancing restrictions, only a limited number of individuals will be allowed in the chapel at a time and masks are required.
Memorial contributions may be made to Light of Christ Parish (St. Alphonsus Catholic Church), Deerfield or to Hospice of Lenawee.
