She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter and Catherine; her sister-in-law Barbara Russell (Tim); and also, Willard and Dorothy Deetjen.
She is survived by: her husband Larry Deetjen; her children, Heather Stern (Gabriel) of Laguna Niguel, CA, Jill Merchant (Robbie) of Irvine, CA and Chad Deetjen of Boynton Beach, FL; her grandchildren, Willow, Elowen and Sage; her siblings, Kathy Milne (Dick), Nancy Bannister, Helen Barauskas (Vince), Jane Martin (Jim), Judy Femia (Bob), Tim Russell and Rusty Russell (Vickie); and her brother-in-law Garry Deetjen (Susie). She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces.
