He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Truitt and Hanna Truitt (Marvin); his wife Iva Jean Madden; and his siblings, Bill, Carl, Nelson, Dot, Frances, Louise and Ruth.
He is survived by: his children, Terrie Davis and Larry Truitt. He is also survived by five grandchildren, many great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
