He was predeceased by: his parents, Harrison Ferguson and Margaret Ferguson (Garland); his daughter Sherry Ferguson; and his sister-in-law Beverly Ferguson. He is survived by: his wife Linda Gillis of Deckerville; his children, Leigh Ann Hall (Larry) of Canada and Chris MacDonald (Lana) of Canada; his grandchildren, Jamie, Lindsay Neilson and Sloan MacDonald; his stepchildren, Traci Schultz (Johann) of Argyle and Mike Abbott (Jennifer) of Pt; his stepgrandchildren, Grant, Allison, Tess, Charlotte, Blaine, Natalie and Alayna; and his siblings, Wayne Ferguson of Canada, Scott Ferguson (Janet) of Canada and Cathy Toshack (Allen) of Canada.

Memorials may be given to the Sanilac Humane Society.
