He was predeceased by: his son Gary Long; his grandson Bud Long; and his brothers, Erwin and Paul Long. He is survived by: his wife Jean Long; his children, Tina Matson, Danay Westerby and Mike Long; his siblings, Don (Helen), Keith, Tom, David (Karen), Vern Long (Charlotte), Mary Brush, Judy Wilczynski (Bill), Diane Long, Shirley Robinson and Norma Westley; and his daughter-in-law Margaret Long. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
