He was predeceased by: his parents, Grant McLaren and Blanch McLaren (Perry); his wife Beverly Hayward; his brother Leonard McLaren; his daughter Denise Benhase; his son-in-law Dave Benhase; his sister-in-law Pat McLaren; and his nephews, Ronald McLaren and Larry McLaren.
He is survived by: his children, Diane Ray (Bill), Debra Twining (Mark) and Dale McLaren; his grandchildren, Laura, Jill McCreedy, Kyle Twining (Karly), Mark Jr. Twining (Tammy), Brad Benhase (Hannah) and Kelly McGlone (Zach); his great grandchildren, Olivia and Jacob; his brother Kenneth McLaren; his close friends, Margaret Sefton, Bill Hennessey, Donald King and John Jewett; and also Floyd Cargill. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
