She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Pachay and Mary Pachay (Martha); her husband John Griggs, Sr.; her sons, John and Richard Griggs; and her siblings, Andrew Pachay and Helen Okleshen.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Griggs (Cindy), Barbara Griggs and Susan Griggs. She is also survived by five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and four great, great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Newell Chapel (83313 M-51, Decatur, MI 49045). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
