With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lewis David Houseman of Decatur, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 30, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Houseman and Beth Houseman (Gillesby); his son Mark Houseman; his siblings, Elsie Fleming, Henry Frank Houseman and Dorothy Nelson; and his nephew David Houseman.

He is survived by: his wife Loraine DeFeyter; his daughter Elaine Mroczek (Dan); and his nieces and nephews, Carol Williams (Fleming), Sara Houseman, Rachel Houseman, Jeff Nelson and Jim Nelson.
