She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband James Fred Shew; her children, John Shew (Joy) of Avon, IN, Michael Shew (Brenda) of Constantine, MI and Susan Shew of Decatur, MI; her sister Betty Siskaninetz (Paul) of Lawton, MI; and her daughter Cynthia Pierce. She was also cherished by seven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
