It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alfred Parish of Decatur, Michigan, who passed away on July 18, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Parish and Dorothy Parish (Graham); his wife Bonnie Parish; and his siblings, Betty Van't Zelfde, Lyla Bigelow, Deron Parish, Arden Parish, James Parish Jr. and Marion Parish.
He is survived by: his children, Faye Hunsberger (Harold) of Decatur, Debora Flory Sr. (Robert) of Decatur and Timothy Parish (Anita) of Decatur; his grandchildren, Troy Hunsberger (Rachel), Bonnie Foreman, Josh Hunsberger, Noah Hunsberger (Kara), Stephanie Wiles (Kevin), Elizabeth Leffler (Paul), Lee Haefner (Jayme), Kristyn Lohroff (Mark) and Bruce Haefner (Kim); and his brother Larry Parish (Florence) of Decatur. He is also survived by twenty-eight great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
