He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Hinz and Margaret Hinz; and his former wife Iris Hinz. He is survived by: his stepdaughter Ginny (Phil); his grandchildren, Natalie, Noelle, Nova, Karah, Nicholas, Nathanial, Jace, Conner, Kayden, Kylee, Mason, Kendall, Kayle, Austin and Ciara; his stepdaughter Regina (Larry); and his siblings, Brian (Jodi), Jason (Gloria), David (Debbee) and Marie (Jeff). He is also survived by his loving children, grandchildren, and a community of friends.
