It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen J. Bandyke of Dearborn, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on March 29, 2025, at the age of 104, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Hogie and Mary Hogie; and her sisters, Laura Hedeen and May O'Kray. She is survived by: her husband Thaddeus Anthony Bandyke (Ted); her children, Sylvia Grace, Mary Hope and Martin John (Kim Silarski); and her pet Benji.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Voran Funeral Home - Dearborn Chapel (23701 Ford Rd, Dearborn, MI 48128). A prayer was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 5:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a memorial donation be made to either Angela Hospice or Friends for Animals of Metro Detroit.
