He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Virginia "Ginny"; his children, Nancy (Paul Coleman), Laura Anderson (Scott) and Michael (Sarah Hartman); his grandchildren, Jack, Evan, Hugo, Nidia and Harry; his siblings, Maureen Scholten (Denny) and Gregory; and his sisters-in-law, Sue Arends (Thom) and Margaret Tiesler (John). He was also cherished by many family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home (1139 Inkster Rd, Garden City, MI 48135). A rosary was held on Sunday, September 22nd 2024 at 6:30 PM at the same location. The lying in state was held on Monday, September 23rd 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Church of the Divine Child (1055 Silvery Ln, Dearborn, MI 48128). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, September 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to the Parkinsons Foundation or Angela Hospice.
