It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Michael Popeney of Dearborn, Michigan, born in Southfield, Michigan, who passed away on November 9, 2024, at the age of 46, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, David and Sandi; his brothers, Michael (Jenn) and Brian (April); his nieces, Reagan, Sydney, Mackenzie and Olivia; his grandparents, Shirley, Jerry Burns, Bob, Elaine Schramke, Chuck and Rita Popeney; and also Jane.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stanley Turowski Funeral Home (25509 W Warren St, Dearborn Heights, MI 48127). A prayer was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. The lying in state was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Church of the Divine Child (1055 Silvery Ln, Dearborn, MI 48128). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
