As we bid adieu to Louis' earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Louis has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Settimio and Marguerite; and his brothers, Joseph and Vincent. He is survived by: his siblings, Paul and Mary. He is also survived by 4 nieces and 3 nephews and many grandnieces and grandnephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Nie Family Funeral Home, Carpenter Road Chapel (2400 Carpenter Rd, Ann Arbor, MI 48108). A memorial service was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Nie Funeral Home Carpenter Chapel (2400 Carpenter Rd, Ann Arbor, MI 48108).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Friends for Animals of Metro Detroit to further aid a cause close to Lou's heart.
