With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leo Tomaszewski of Dearborn Heights, Michigan, who passed away on September 9, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam and Sophie (Surbinski); his siblings, Jean Daniels (Pete), Stanley (Meg), Lottie Makowski (Edward), Eddie (Helen), Helen, Roxy Psymusinski (Edwin) and Nancy Karcyznski (Chet); his friend Helen Cecelia Kosinski; his granddaughter Kelly (Helen); and his daughter Peggy Studzinski (Keith).
He is survived by: his brother Stan; his friend Helen Tygielski of Huntsville, Alabama.; his mother-in-law Cecilia Kosinski; his children, Laura Olesko (Barney), Michael Sparrow (Ellen Clark), Nancy Noiva (Robert), Ruth Bachor (Carl), Stanley (Deborah), Terese Baltes (Kevin), Leo A. (Kimberly) and Mary Tomaszewski; his sister Alice Stinson (late Doug); his nephew J. R. Daniels (Carol); his grandchildren, Melissa Mudra (Andy), Christopher DaMour (Leslie), Kimberly Eberlein (Ben), Jackie Cavanaugh (Alex), Carl Bachor Jr. (Katie), Kevin Bachor, Jennifer Hahn (Camerin), John Bachor, Evan Sparrow, Valerie Dulmage (Jonathan), Adam, Noah and Rebekah Tomaszewski; and also Stanley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
To minimize risk of spreading the Corona Virus the family asks everyone to keep masks on (nose and mouth covered) while in the building.
The family suggests memorial donations to Henry Ford SandCastles or Forgotten Harvest.
