He is survived by: his wife Theresa; his children, Brian Scantamburlo (Sarah) and Lisa Saling (Ryan); his grandchildren, Gianluca and Paolo Scantamburlo; his children, Ian and Grace Saling; his brother Larry Scantamburlo; his nieces and nephews, Lino Garcia, Talia Smalarz, Troy Scantamburlo, Alex Scantamburlo and Raymond Zurawski; and his sister-in-law Loretta Galley (Frank).
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stanley Turowski Funeral Home (25509 W Warren St, Dearborn Heights, MI 48127). A rosary was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. The lying in state was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Cyprian Catholic Church (13249 Pennsylvania Rd, Riverview, MI 48193). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In honor of Leo's late sister, Laura Scantamburlo Garcia, donations may be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (https://www.bcrf.org) in lieu of flowers.
