He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Nagy and Margaret Nagy; and his siblings, Stephen, Margaret Adams (Donald), Alex Nagy and Frank Nagy (Elsie).

He is survived by: his children, Joanne Walega (late Richard), David Nagy, Karen Ferns (Rob) and Deborah Waldo (Raymond); his grandchildren, James, Jennifer Zajac (Jeff), Robert Walega (Tina), Amanda Nagy, Jacob Ferns, Sydney Ferns, Ethan Waldo, Zachary Waldo and Lauren Waldo; and his great grandchildren, Brooklynn, Jaxson Zajac and Daniel Nagy.

Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the L. J. Griffin Funeral Home (7707 Middlebelt Rd, Westland, MI 48185).
