My grandmother invited my family, the Schrader's to church, and that is when we met the Harvey family. My parents were very close to Clarence and Lois, my parents names are: Bob and Sue Schrader. At age 11, in 1966, Captain Harvey always had alter calls for salvation, and I went forward and asked Jesus Christ to be my LORD and Savior! Bless the Harvey's in Jesus Christ.”

I met Clarence through his friend, Ken Bensen, in 2010 when I was succeeding Ken, the founder and CEO of Habitat for Humanity of Michigan. Clarence and we immediately developed a deep and meaningful relationship and our friendship grew from there. I’ve always said that I do whatever Clarence tells me to do. I do so because it works!
