It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Von Edison Ballard of Davison, Michigan, who passed away on January 16, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Ballard and Ester Ballard Massey (Sneed); his wife Barbara; and his brothers, Glen Ballard and E. W. Ballard.
He is survived by: his daughters, Judith Ballard, Nancy Ballard and Susan Lutz (Mark); his grandchildren, Charles, Gregory Smith, Douglas, Kimberlee and Victoria Lutz; and his brothers, Robert Ballard (Donna) and Lester Ballard (Ann). He is also survived by other loving family members and good friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Allen Funeral Home (9136 Davison Rd, Davison, MI 48423). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Meadowview Memorial Gardens (3136 N State Rd, Davison, MI 48423).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the family to be donated to charitable organizations, in Von's memory.
