We are sad to announce that on November 22, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Rosa Mary (Sloan) Schaeffer of Davison, Michigan, born in Flint, Michigan. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Sloan and Jennie Sloan (Darling); her sisters, Betty Shumaker, Joyce Dow and Joann Richardson; and her granddaughter Natalia Rosa Nester.
She is survived by: her husband Walter Schaeffer; her children, Denise Nester (Mark), David Schaeffer (Kristine) and Jennie Yelvington (Rob); her grandchildren, Analise Atteo (John), Gabriel Nester, James Schaeffer, Kevin Schaeffer (Laura), Forrest Schaeffer (Jen), Harrison Schaeffer, Aaron Petrovich and Elena Petrovich; and her siblings, Genevieve Howe and Jim Sloan. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren, other loving family members and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Rosa's memory to the St. John Church Choir or the American Red Cross.
