Robert Earl Sperry Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Earl Sperry of Davison, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 21, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sperry and Collette Sperry (Trent); and his siblings, Richard Regan, Dolores Christe, Mary Ann Stanton, Francis Sperry and David Sperry.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Stack; his children, Sharon Bloom (Bill) and Darryn Sperry; his grandsons, Jake Bloom (Alana), Will Bloom and Dominic Bobbet; his great grandchildren, Brody, Hudson, Kellin, Gibson and Hailey Bloom; and his siblings, Michael Sperry (Jane) and Phyllis Beaudry. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Allen Funeral Home (9136 Davison Rd, Davison, MI 48423). A rosary was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (404 Dayton St, Davison, MI 48423). The military honors will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Great Lakes National Cemetery (4200 Belford Rd, Holly, MI 48442).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (https://www.stjude.org) or LaVigne Home, in Earl's memory.
