He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeanette Ardele Ulman, Sr. (Garrow) and Raymond Ulman, Sr.; his uncle Norman Ulman; and his aunt Louise Matheson (Herb). He is survived by: his wife Brenda Byers-Ulman; his sons, Travis Ulman and Dale Byers (Sara); his grandchildren, Caitlin Byers, Carter Ulman and Jaxson Ulman; his brother Brad Ulman; his aunt Mary Ulman; his uncle Robert Garrow (Sherron); and his siblings-in-law, Steven Pocus, Pam Kruzman (Mike), Kim Conn and Tricia Brown (Chuck). He is also survived by other loving family members and good friends.
