He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Diehl and Hyacinth Diehl (Mathews); his wife Mary Horton; his daughters, Diane Herrick and Deborah McMahon; his grandson Scott Diehl; his great grandchild Shaquanta; his great great grandchild Zaniya; and his brother Darwin. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
