She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Ahrens (Phyllis) and Betty Thurlow (Elwood); and her sisters, Barbara Roberts and Deb Thurlow. She is survived by: her husband Roger Westenfeld; her children, Chad Westenfeld (Julie) and Carrie Lindsey; her grandchildren, Lucas Westenfeld, Charlie Westenfeld, Grace Westenfeld, Connor Lindsey, Ava Lindsey, Bryce Lindsey and Dylan Lindsey; and her sisters, Yvonne Joyner (Harvey), Gayla Lechner (Mark) and Georgia Feldman (Gary). She is also survived by other loving family members and dear friends.
In 2002, Lynda was blessed with a life-saving kidney donation from her niece, Vicki Horton, a gift that gave Lynda many more years to spend with those she loved.
