He was predeceased by: his parents, Ward Brooks and Mary Louise "MaryLou" Brooks (Selzer). He is survived by: his sister Marilyn Swank; his nephews, Brian Swank (Ashalay) and Christopher Swank (Emily); and his great-nieces, Zoe and Arianna Swank. He is also survived by other loving family members and good friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, in John's memory.
