It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joel Roger Stimson of Davison, Michigan, who passed away on December 29, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Stimson and Alice Stimson (Caryl); his son Joel Stimson; and his brothers, Ron Stimson and Jim Stimson.
He is survived by: his wife Corrine "Corky" Stimson; his children, Cindy Beamer (Calvin), Michelle McCarley and Robin VanCura (Tim); his siblings, Caryl Stimson (Beth), Paul Stimson (Karen), Beth Schryburt (Mary), Delores Douglas (Dave) and Melvin Stimson (Karen); and his sister-in-law Sharon Stimson. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren, other loving family members and good friends.
