He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Sylvester and Mary Sylvester (Spegel); his wife Margaret "Peggy" Geary; his son Steven; and his brothers, Ronald and Albert.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas Sylvester (Laura), Gary Sylvester (Evelyn), Michael Sylvester and Amy Dion (Leo); and his grandchildren, Marianne, Leo and Timothy Dion. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many other loving family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church Building Fund.
