He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Brownrigg and Norma Brownrigg (Flees); and his brother Bruce. He is survived by: his wife Martha Bobbitt; his children, Heather (Keith), Christopher, Karianne and Jeffrey; his grandchildren, Zachary, Garrett, Arionna, Makenzie, Gavin, Alayna, August and Liam; his great grandchild Oakleigh; his siblings, Judie, Sheryl (Chuck), Theresa (Dave), Mark (Anne) and Mary (Al); and his sister-in-law Shelly. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
