He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Burkhardt and Geraldine Burkhardt (Whitney); his son Frederick Burkhardt; and his pet Hank. He is survived by: his wife Janice Burkhardt; his children, Stacy Moyer (Larry), Marianne Schlaud (Mark), Janet Burkhardt and Andy Burkhardt (Michelle); his daughter-in-law Martha Burkhardt; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Michael, Steven, David, Francis, Benjamin, Paul and Adam; and his brother Marvin Burkhardt. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, other loving family members and good friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Allen Funeral Home (9136 Davison Rd, Davison, MI 48423). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
