It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Magdelin Gucwa of Davison, Michigan, who passed away on May 2, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Bureiza and Frances Bureiza (Maikrzek); her husband Tony Gucwa (Anthony); her daughter-in-law Kathleen Gucwa; and her siblings, Angeline Wrubel (Sylvester), Rose Heleski (Frank), Adelaide Gucwa (Theodore), Emma Bureiza, Peter (Mildred), Thomas, August and Julius Bureiza.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Sweeney (Gerald) of Charlotte, MI, Marie Reeves (Clarence) of Kawkawlin, MI, Gregory Gucwa of Davison, MI, Mark Gucwa of Davison, MI and Katherine Robbins (Dan) of Ann Arbor, MI; her grandchildren, Michelle Powers (Philip), Richard Sweeney (Alecia), Daniel Sweeney (Kerri), Eric Sweeney (Dawn), Amy Basket (Mark), Jacob Gucwa, Robert Gucwa, Ryan Robbins, Nigel Robbins, Christopher Robbins and Natalie Robbins; her great grandchildren, Elisabeth Cuccio (Jordon), Abigail Powers, Cecelia Powers, Sydney Sweeney, Owen Sweeney, Liam Sweeney, Jack Sweeney, Finnegan Sweeney, Whitaker Sweeney, Zachary Basket, Nicholas Basket, Sarah Basket and Avery Robbins; and her great great grandchildren, Sophia and Leia. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
