It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna Jane (Dupuis) Smith of Davison, Michigan, born in Flint, Michigan, who passed away on February 26, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Dupuis and Phoebe Dupuis (LaBean); her husband John Gardner Smith; and her son John Andrew Smith. She is survived by: her children, Jane Bergeron (Rob), Jeff Smith and Jerry Smith (Sue); her daughter-in-law Anna Smith; her grandchildren, Colleen Brown (Robert), Bubba Smith, Jamie Gildner (Brandon), Shannon Kachman (Josh), Joshua Smith (Krystal), Jared Smith (Taylor), Robbie Bergeron (Palki) and Danielle Watts (Jarrid); her great grandchildren, Haylie, Hannah Brown, Bailey, Tyler McConnell, Adriana, Camden Gildner, Jase, Logan Smith, Kaylee, Brantley Smith, Jack Smith, Brendan, Ava Kachman and Lyla Watts; her siblings, Bernie McCarthy, Betty Moliterno, Tootie Sekelsky and Wally Dupuis (Bev); her close friend Cathy; and her caregivers, Ken, Dan and Moon. She is also survived by other loving family members and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church or the American Heart Association, in Donna's memory.
