He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Ratledge and Lois Ratledge (Wiley); his daughter Laurie Johnson; and his siblings, Wayne Ratledge, Wilma McMahan, James Ratledge and Betty Treece.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Carpenter; his children, Christine Frushour, Al Schroeder, Brian Ratledge (Sue) and Karen Sobolewski (Edward); his grandchildren, Scott Wade (Maggie), Kendra Allen, James Eichbrecht (Lydia), Shawn Fink (Bob), Brandi Verder (Gary), Autumn Frushour, Rachel Bengal (Mike), Brian Ratledge, Ingrid Arthur (Nicholas), Natalie Dick (Michael), Ryanne Sothard (Nathen), Kelly Piorunck (John), Kerry Mayer (Cody) and Katie Crum (Brad); his siblings, Loretta Whitlock, George Ratledge, Jerry Ratledge, Gary Ratledge and Linda Eccles; and his son-in-law Jerry Johnson. He is also survived by 37 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Dallas' name.
