She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Boris and Dolores Boris (DeWitt); and her former husband Kim Michael Lavalle. She is survived by: her former husband Victor Lake; her husband Brian; her children, Michael Lavalle (Amanda), Nathan Lavalle (Maureen), Stephanie Gates (Ryan) and Brian Lake; her grandchildren, Ellie, Miles, Mimi, Sloane, Jack and Tommy; and her siblings, Julia Alden-Yakel (Dave), Maria Chappell, Bethany Boris (Dan), Gerald Boris (Drew), Vincent Boris (Tricia) and John Boris. She is also survived by mother and grandmother who always put her family.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Allen Funeral Home (9136 Davison Rd, Davison, MI 48423). A rosary was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A memorial service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (404 Dayton St, Davison, MI 48423).
