She was predeceased by: her parent Lewis C. Mathers; and her daughter Jane P. Briggs. She is survived by: her parent Irene M. Mathers (Kilboune); her husband William; and her children, William C. Carter (Debbie), Bob L. Carter, Joan M. Buterakos, Elizabeth A. D'Arcangelis and Linda S. McCrandall (Paul). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; many other loving family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kindred Hospice or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, in Charlotte's memory.
