With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Betty Joyce (Krapohl) Pendell of Davison, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Betty Joyce left this world on April 12, 2025 at the age of 100, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Krapohl and Myrtle Krapohl (Smythe); her husband Robert Pendell; her siblings, Rosa Cooper, Elizabeth Ries, Darlene Chastain, Don Krapohl, Harley Krapohl, Charles Knight, Richard Knight, Pat Knight and Joan Knight; her son-in-law Jay Schroeder; and her nephew Jack Krapohl.
She is survived by: her daughters, Joyce Taylor (Bob) and Shirley Schroeder; her grandchildren, Kimberley Patzwall (Larry Petrella), Robert Patzwall, Joel Patzwall, Lisa Swank (Tim), Tara Schroeder and Ryan Schroeder; her great grandchildren, Chelsea Patzwall (Shawn Boyd), Amanda Patzwall (Codey McGrath), David Patzwall and Anna Castelluccio; her great great grandchildren, Vanessa, Olivia, Sammy and Onalee; her sister Mary Brady; and her friends, Doris Poland, Gary and Jenni Jean. She is also survived by other loving family members and good friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Colonial Hills Baptist Church (5375 W Mount Morris Rd, Mt Morris Township, MI 48458). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A procession will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Colonial Hills Baptist Church, in Betty's memory.
