With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bette Louise Schweer of Davison, Michigan, born in Burlington, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 10, 2024 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Bette Louise leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Ross and Louise M. Zerneke (Hess); her husband Victor; and her sister Jeanne Knopp (Jack). She is survived by: her sons, Jeffrey Tracy (Deanna) of Davison and David Tracy (Bonnie) of Minnesota; her stepdaughters, Sandra Townsend (Steve) of Moline and Susan Lott of Addison, Illinois.; and her nephew Kent Knopp (Jan) of Monticello Iowa. She is also survived by 11 grand-children, 18 great-grand-children, and 4 great-great-grand-children.
She also volunteered through RSVP until her eye problems limited her activities.
