He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Benson and Ollie Benson (Maddox); his grandmother Kilburn; his children, Marcus Benson, Nedra Benson, Vernon Benson (Brooke) and Tina Tucker (Montez); his grandchildren, Marcus Benson, Eric Benson (Sabra), Chad Benson, Amanda Walling (Jacob), Arica Benson, Allysen Benson, Jaylin Tucker, Brady Benson and Montez Tucker II; his great grandchildren, Ethan Benson, Aiden Benson, Landon Benson, Corbin Benson, Kaysleigh Benson, River Benson, Francis Benson, Ellinore Benson, Owen Benson, Nolan Benson and Dierks Walling; his siblings, Annie Mae Simons (Robert), Roy Benson (Euleua Mae), Henrietta Pruett (Ralph), Mildred Jones (Ralph) and Dorothy Crayton (Larry); and his granddaughter Erin Benson. He was also cherished by other loving family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heritage Baptist Church, in Al's memory.
