He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Edward VanLeuven and Anne Louise VanLeuven (Schweier); and his siblings, William VanLeuven, Nancy Lanning (VanLeuven), George VanLeuven and Rachel Pearsall (Van Leuven).
He is survived by: his wife Deneen Sharon VanLeuven (Young); his daughters, Karen VanLeuven of Rochester Hills and Linda VanLeuven (Bryon Betts) of Davisburg; his grandchildren, Amanda Koziarski (David Anderson), Ashley Koziarski and McKenna Koziarski; his great grandchildren, Auriana, Mena, Vida, Kane, Kennedy and Kash; his sister Rosemarie Gleason; and his nieces and nephews, Lynette Scaffede and Emy Whitbread (George).
