He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Zimmerman and Irene Zimmerman (Thiry); his son Marvin Zimmerman; his granddaughter Taira Zimmerman; and his siblings, Ray, Eva, Bob, Beatrice, Shirley and Edna.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Tupper; his children, Mark Zimmerman (Mae), Marti Zimmerman (Maria Liska) and Marcia Mitchell (Louis); his grandchildren, Dillon Zimmerman, Trevor Zimmerman-Rye, Owen Zimmerman, Zoey Zimmerman, Ethan Zimmeramn, Tristan Zimmerman and Gian Ebsolo; his great grandchild Cameron Strauss; and his siblings, Joyce Puza (Bob) and Gerry Zimmerman (Nancy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
