We are sad to announce that on May 10, 2022, at the age of 81, Janis Carolyn Linderoth of Daggett, Michigan, born in Menominee, Michigan passed away. She was predeceased by: her father Otto Freis; and her brothers-in-law, Harold (Patsy Nuttall), Hilding Linderoth, Jr., Harlan Linderoth and Leonard Strohl.

She is survived by: her granddaughter Skylar of DeWitt; her daughters, Shannon Linderoth of Daggett and Carrie Romel (Jason); her brother Richard Freis (Joan); and also, Karen Strohl and Donna Erickson (Darrell). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and many cousins and friends.

“It has been over a year and I still cannot “wrap” my head around your mother’s passing. We had such great times together, whether visiting or talking over the phone. Your mom is one of the reasons I remained in Stephenson. I never realized she had passed - we had just spoken and talked about meeting for lunch. Once I found out I simply had no words . . . . I miss her so much - her insights - her conversations - her pure joy of family; however, most of all, her friendship.”
