He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Wery and Rita Wery (Kline); his granddaughter Ashley Wery; and his in-laws, Arthur and Ellen Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Wery of Daggett; his children, James Wery (Misti), Michelle and Jennifer Wery; and his siblings, Alan Wery (Kelly), Phil Wery (Kristle), Janice Thoune (John), Marianne Broberg (David) and Beth Solander (John). He is also survived by six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
