He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph and Anna Mongene, Sr. (Brown); and his stepdaughter Linda Croad. He is survived by: his wife Irene A. Mongene; his children, Danny Mongene (Mariea) of Kinross, MI, Tina Wurster (Dennis) of Kincheloe, MI and Judy Mongene of Kincheloe, MI; his stepdaughter Tammy Kamprath (Paul) of Grayling, MI; his brother Fred Mongene of Raco, MI; his grandchildren, Danielle Mongene, Melinda Mongene, Joe Pine (Abby), Shyann Armstrong and Jolene Pine; and his great grandchildren, Tristan Ortiz, Jaymian Lay, Lorelei Tharp and Nessie Pine. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
