She was predeceased by: her parents, Duane Bergey and Marjorie Bergey (Stiers); and her sister Judy Bergey. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Justin Berry, Cheyenne Kooistra and Shawn Kooistra; and her siblings, Roger Bergey (Peggy) of Mancelona, Jenise Root (Ken) of Kalkaska and Jacki Saxton (Burr) of Cadillac, MI. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
