He is survived by: his wife Barbara Lowry of Curtis; his children, William Jr. Hoig (Mary Lou) of Gwinn, Kelly Hoig (Theresa) of Portage, Kerry Hoig of Wolverine and Leah Hoig of Grand Rapids; and his grandchildren, Adrienne, Kara, Lysa, Sammi Jo, Emily and Katelyn.
