He is survived by: his close friend Linda Vos of Curtis; his stepsons, Dennis Newell of Hutchinson and Danny Newell of Grand Rapids; and his siblings, Mary Ann Mielke (Robert) of South Haven, Jim Kenney (Jennifer) of Charlevoix and Joan Shaver (Gary) of Charlevoix. He is also survived by six step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.
