He was predeceased by: his siblings, Herbert Lawson, Gary Owen, Ruby Gehrett, Betty Fisher, Georgia Levielle and Arbutus Long.
He is survived by: his wife Marion Sanford of Curtis; his children, Terri Geeding (Timothy) of Manteno, Dan Owen of Lawrenceville, Georgia, Bill Koontz (Sherrie Berry) of Flint and Teresa King (Bill) of LaValle, Wisconsin; his grandchildren, Sam Geeding, Ben Geeding, Jennifer Eubanks (Kyle), Heather Neitzel (Ryan) and Crystal Smith (Matthew); his great grandchildren, Solomon Eubanks, Isaiah Eubanks, Shelby Neitzel, Ashley Kaiser (Trevor), Dakota Neitzel, Kyle Smith (Ryann-Lynn), Joshua Smith (Veda Melody) and Breanna Smith; his great great grandchildren, Kaisley Kaiser, Emberley Smith, Hayden Smith and Elijah Smith; and his sister Joan Bader of Lapeer.
